Skip to contentThe Flexifill BF1 is a semi-automatic bulk filler, simple to operate and service. Handles bags up to 1000 litres for both one trip and returnable containers. With an optional small bag filling table, bags from 10 to 20 litres can be filled making this a very versatile filler.
A model to fill particulates up to 20mm is also available.
All parts manufactured from stainless steel to a very high standard with CE conformity, material in contact with product stainless steel AISI316.
The Flexifill BF1 is semi-automatic in bag loading and unloading but the filling cycle is fully automated.
Once the bag has been placed in the container and the lower gland located, the upper filling gland is then located in the jaws and the two hand start pressed. The bag is raised by the filling head and the filling cycle begins.
The bag is first de-capped, then the filling valve is positioned over the gland and air evacuated from the bag.
As the bag is filled it is lowered into the container whilst being monitored by the operator to ensure no creases or folds develop. When the bag has reached the desired volume set by the flowmeter or weighscale it is then re-capped and the gland released.
Typical output filling at 4 litre/sec flow rate to the filler is:
4 x 1000 litre bags/hour.

Turbine flowmeter is our standard meter for non-aseptic liquid products

Flexifill machines can have the option to confirm to a low level Atex category 3.

Dispense fitments come in different formats – our non-powered and powered grippers allow us to handle standard or bespoke fitments and dispense valves.

To extend the shelf life of many products the filler can be fitted with an integrated steamset and steam cup. This allows the face of the filling valve to be steam flushed clean of product after every filling cycle.

A laminar airflow cabinet can be fitted around the filling valve to maintain a clean air environment whilst filling product.

Enables up to four drums to be filled in situation before removal of the completed pallet.

The optional small bag table enables the filling of bags up to 20 litres without the need for another filler.

Mass or magnetic flowmeter can be supplied as an option to the turbine flowmeter. The flowmeter will give a high degree of accuracy for a wide range of process conditions.
